The thing is, she's too close to the work to make those cuts herself. And she already felt like editing alone was pushing her budget, let alone adding culling on top of it.
HER WORKFLOW
She sets a max budget of $65 per session so she gets the most out of the service without going over what she's comfortable spending. Her dedicated editor culls the gallery down to 50-60 of the strongest images and then edits the full gallery including masks and object removal. There's no back and forth, no approval step. At this point her editor knows her style well enough to curate and edit the gallery with confidence and have it back in her hands within 5-7 business days.
